Cycling Events

Four mountain bike events offer a variety of terrains, distances, and even modes of racing. We are again offering lap and short course racing, and a Le Mans start in the XCM. There’s sure to be an event you’ll enjoy.

*New for 2025: e-bike categories in all events over 10km!

Race registration includes festival entry, entertainment, security, and access to food vendors, restrooms with hot water showers, and a full medical team, plus all fees and taxes.

Enduimet XCM (75km MTB)

Our 2025 Cross-Country Marathon course will be a repeat of last year’s 75-kilometer loop into Enduimet Wildlife Management Area and back, animals aplenty | approximately 1200 meters of climbing | LE MANS start!!! | 2 feed zones on course | this is a race for EXPERIENCED cyclists only, and riders should be self-sufficient with bikes in excellent working condition | we WILL enforce time cutoffs on course in 2025 | e-bikes welcome

Elerai XC (33km MTB)

A shortened version of our Enduimet XCM | combination of singletrack and doubletrack roads, with just enough technical to be a "true" MTB experience | 600 meters of climbing | this event is designed for cyclists with good endurance, who want to get out and see the area, but not spend all day on a bike | one feed zone | e-bikes welcome

West Kili XCO (18km MTB)

Our version of the Cross-Country Olympic event is 2 laps of 9 kilometers, alternating between West Kilimanjaro Forest single track and Simba Farm property | total climbing 470 meters | no feed zones, but racer’s personal bags available upon completion of the first lap | e-bikes welcome

West Kili Mini XCO (9km MTB)

The Mini Cross-Country Olympic event is a single loop of the XCO course | approximately 235 meters climbing over the 9-kilometer loop into West Kilimanjaro Forest | no feed zones | this course is terrific for very determined beginners

Simba Farm XCC (6km MTB)

The most exciting race of the weekend, our Cross-Country Short Course is 4 high speed laps on a 1.5 kilometer loop entirely within view of the race village | this crowd-pleasing 6-kilometer event is all about top end speed, bike handling, and max heart rates | this event may be run in heats
