Bring or rent a tent, and stay the weekend! Or stay at one of our neighboring lodges or hotels.
The Kili Trails race village offers restrooms, hot water showers, 24-hour security, and of course a nice, big campfire. Bring the whole family and celebrate the outdoors.
Camping Details & Fees
Advance purchase camping fees:
$20 per adult (18 &over) per night
$10 per child (11-17) per night
FREE children 10 & under (but do require registration)
On-site purchase camping fees (after 30th Jan):
TZS 70,000 (USD $25) per adult per night
TZS 35,000 (USD $12.50) per child per night
*Discounts are available for schools, running clubs, and/or corporate groups of 20 or more people. For more details, see our registration page.
Camping Information
Camping fees include access to the campsite, restrooms and hot water showers, security, access to food vendors and entertainment, and all bed levy fees and taxes.
Camping fees do NOT include tent rentals.
There will be an upper (and separate) campsite available as an option for families with small children or those who want a quieter location.
All campsites will be granted on a first come, first served basis.
Pets, outside alcohol, and personal open fires are NOT permitted at KTF.
Live and/or loud music will end by 10pm on Friday night and 11pm on Saturday night, though music may continue to be played at lower levels until midnight. Please situate your campsite accordingly.
Tent Rentals
Tents are available for rent as an add-on at registration.
Rental tents will be ready for you upon arrival, complete with mattresses.
Standard tent w/ 2 mattresses: $25 per night
VIP tent w/ cot bed, mattress, pillow and duvet blanket per person + chair at entrance: $70 single / $80 double
Sleeping bag: $7.50 per night (not needed with VIP tent)
